FAQ

Producing customized clothing – especially as a start-up clothing brand – is a complex process. There are many considerations and questions you may have. Our FAQ can answer basic questions about custom apparel production.

Tellya will provide free samples for any production order. However, free pre-production samples cannot be created until we have received a deposit for the production order.
If you would like to receive a sample prior to placing an order, we can accommodate that request but must charge for the sample.

The cost of a customized garment depends on 4 main things:
– The type of garment you order
– The number of garments you order
– The number of locations you want to print
– The number of colors to be printed in each location

We may offer rush options depending on the number of production days given and the size of the order. Please contact your representative for exact rush options and availability.

Samples with custom color and printing take about 7 days. Lead time for a confirmed order is around 30-35 days.

First, we discuss order details, and production details by email or TM. Then we issue you a PI for your confirmation. You will be requested to make a prepaid full payment or deposit before we go into production. After we get your payment, we start to process the order. We usually need 25-35 days for large orders if we don’t have the items in stock. During the production, we will contact you for shipment details, ?or the balance payment. After payment has been settled, we start to prepare the shipment for you.

After you confirm our PI, we will request you to pay T/T, Paypal, and Western Union are the most usual ways we are using.

Accurate color matching depends on the service you need. We can mix Pantone colors for inks and heat sublimation dyes used in screen printing. For embroidery, since we are unable to “mix” threads, we are limited to the stock color choices offered by the thread supplier.
